About Land Identity
High-end residential and commercial landscape architecture are the cornerstones of our business. We help our clients strategize, design, permit, and oversee the construction of all aspects of exterior improvement projects. On the residential side of the business, we specialize in custom swimming pool design. For our commercial clients, we have a vast knowledge of design experience but focus on catering hall facilities, assisted living projects, and mixed-use development.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of landscape architectural services that are customized to meet the needs of each client and project. It is the firm’s vision to provide professional services while achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction. We pride ourselves in offering the same level of care whether it be a small residential planting plan or a large-scale land development project.
Site feasibility studies: evaluate the project and perform preliminary calculations to determine what the constraints are and whether or not a variance is needed
Due diligence research: take an in-depth review of the municipal ordinance and zoning criteria and identify what the requirements are and what permits are required for approval
Site inventory: visit the site to obtain dimensions, elevations, and locate/identify trees to supplement the provided survey data, overall analysis of the site
Layout plans: prepare concept plans, detailed site plans, or masterplans, with corresponding written specifications and inspiration imagery
Swimming pool design: evaluate pool placement taking into consideration sun orientation, setbacks, function for end user, interior design of pool steps, sun shelves, benches, swimouts, and structural plans for construction/permitting
Grading plans: alter the topography of the land to support the new improvements and effectively manage stormwater runoff, includes drywell sizing, rain gardens, and utility layout
Landscape plans: prepare plantings plans with proper spacing, sizing, and itemized species lists, with supporting imagery of the specified plantings
Lighting plans: design LED area lighting for commercial parking areas, walkways, and streetscapes, as well as detailed low-voltage lighting to illuminate architectural details, plantings, and provide overall site safety
Irrigation design: fixture layout for irrigation heads and drip irrigation, determine zone valve sizing and scheduling, and prepare pressure loss calculations
Construction detailing: prepare construction details and written specifications for hardscapes, decks, outdoor kitchens, drainage, landscaping, lighting, and other custom features associated with the project
Renderings: formulate digital color renderings in plan view and cross section, photo overlays, and realistic 3D models
Permitting: assistance with preparing applications for the following permits: zoning, grading/engineering, soil moving, tree removal/replacement, NJDOT VCM permits, and county soil erosion certifications
Variance applications: provide professional testimony for Planning Board, Zoning Board of Adjustment hearings, and Shade Tree Commission Meetings
Project management: overall client consultation including strategizing, cost estimating, bid documentation/management, and construction oversight
